Privacy policy
Short version: your runs, your location and your sensor data stay on your iPhone. The only thing that leaves it is a purchase record when you subscribe. No accounts, no ad tracking.
What Holeshot uses, and where it goes
Location (GPS). Used only while the timer is open, to measure speed and distance. It is processed on your iPhone and is never sent to us or anyone else.
Motion sensors and barometer. The accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer are read on your iPhone to time runs and measure slope. Nothing leaves the device.
Your runs and cars. Stored on your iPhone in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them. You can delete runs anytime in the app.
Photos. If you tap Save on a timing card, Holeshot asks for permission to add that image to your photo library. It never reads your photos.
Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. To keep track of subscription status we use RevenueCat, which receives purchase records only: an anonymous app user ID, which plan was bought, and when. It is not linked to your name, email, location or runs, and it is not used for tracking or ads.
What we don't do
No account. No advertising or tracking identifiers. No analytics on your driving. No selling or sharing of data. No public leaderboards.
Third parties
Apple (App Store purchases) and RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription status). Nothing else.
Children
Holeshot is not directed at children and is intended for drivers using closed courses.
